Keturah Brewster

Executive Director

Keturah Brewster has played various roles at IHAF over the last twelve years and now serves as the Executive Director. Through her leadership, she supports young people and organizers around the state to increase youth opportunities by nurturing their leadership, challenging political leaders, and engaging with members of our communities in dialogues that shift narratives and build youth-led movements. Keturah is a certified Youth Worker, and in 2017, she won the Advocacy Champion Award. Keturah's expertise in the importance of community organizing and growing leadership development has been widely recognized, leading her to teach numerous undergraduate courses at prestigious institutions such as UMASS Boston, Boston University, and the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

Keturah's passion is centered on liberating marginalized communities, specifically in healing/spirituality work. Keturah is a Boston native pursuing her Bachelor’s in Communications at UMASS Boston.

Vikiana Petit-Homme

Lead Organizer

Vikiana Petit-Homme is a 22 year old youth organizer and community builder within the City of Boston. In 2008, Vikiana emigrated from Cap-Haitien, Haiti. At the core of her values are curiosity, community, and radical imagination. For the past 6 years, she’s engaged in and led local political, youth empowerment, and community oriented organizations. She served as the Northeast Regional Organizing Director for March For Our Lives and the former Executive Director of March For Our Lives: Boston, a youth-led organization dedicated to ending all types of gun violence. She is also a former member and youth director of the Boston Mayor's Youth Council.

Through those experiences, Vikiana has developed a strong sense of responsibility to those around her by assisting in creating and connecting people to the resources and tools they need to succeed. From starting mutual aid organizations and drives to curating community events aimed at feeding and connecting neighbors, Vikiana is committed to having a sense of re-imagination about what a community can achieve and be.
